The best of both worlds, agility and comfort.

For luxury boats, a missing segment lies in the intersection between performance and pure comfort based speedboats. Spotting that opportunity, Made collaborated with BRUT in creating the perfect combination of both worlds.

To achieve this, we have designed concepts and confronted them to the market, understanding its needs and expectations. Additionally, the challenge was to forecast the financials, knowing the low volumes and important cash-flow aspects linked to it.

Made delivered a complete pitch deck with focus on desirability and viability consideration, making it irresistible to future investors who can nearly feel the product.

Together with our client and partnering naval architects Made is currently developing this concept into a production ready yacht, matching looks and performance without compromise!

Product Design Language

Growing a product portfolio requires a strong design language. For Brut, this means blending seamlessly with the aesthetic of one's lifestyle, showcasing a high-end, sleek design that highlights the boat's unique features and innovative functionality.

Staying true to this approach, we decided on avoiding traditional speedboat cues, instead emphasizing cutting-edge performance and advanced technology.

A timeless design, characterized by practical elegance, curated with refined details. The harmony of taut and organic lines supports a strong yet inviting and recognizable look.

The result: a state-of-the-art speedboat that complements your adventures and stands as a symbol of innovation in the world of high-performance marine vehicles

Great products deserve a great brand

Made created a strong and appealing brand identity, manifesting innovation & visually inspired by a specific aquatic mood, delivering on the premium characteristics of both the boat and the boating experience.

This included developing Brut's website and visual concepts, all aimed at enhancing the holistic brand experience and magnifying its market impact.

The brand is embodied by a sleek, nautical-inspired color scheme paired with a fresh, modern, and high-end feel
Made also designed the logo, reflecting Brut's cutting-edge technology and design sensitivity.

Virtual reality design

Virtual reality product design leverages immersive technology to create, visualize, and interact with digital prototypes in a three-dimensional space. This approach offers several advantages over traditional design methods, such as CAD on a 2D screen.

During the design process of Brut, VR was particularly beneficial in several ways:

Spatial Awareness and Ergonomics:

Designers can virtually step inside the speedboat to evaluate the layout and ensure that the controls, seating, and other elements are ergonomically placed.

The immersive environment allows for precise adjustments, enhancing the user experience and safety features.

Design Iteration and Prototyping:

Various design concepts can be quickly visualised and modified in VR. Hull shapes, deck layouts, and aesthetic details can be tested, assessed and refined without the need for physical mock-ups.

Stakeholder Involvement:

Clients, engineers, and other stakeholders can be invited into the VR environment to provide feedback and make decisions collaboratively.
